Ladies Bible study starting Monday, January 28th. Sunday, January 20th 6:00 pm – FLC Pastor Peter invites everyone to attend as he casts the vision for our church for 2019 and beyond.  Dinner will be provided!  A signup sheet is on the bulletin board in the hall or call the church office. Men, mark your calendars! Sunday, January 6th is Baptist Men’s Day here at Midway! We have a very special day planned beginning with a combined men’s Sunday School Class with guest speaker, Randy Southwick of Solitude Place Ministries. This class is for all men ages 14 or older. Then Gary Barkalow, founder of The Noble Heart Ministry, will be speaking during our Morning Worship Service!

Christmas Sermon Series Beginning Sunday, December 9th! We will be looking into the mission and purpose of Jesus Christ.  Throughout His ministry, Jesus shared with his followers the reasons that He came – a mission far different than the world expected! Invite someone to join us as we celebrate why Jesus came.

Christmas is coming once again, with all its hustle and bustle— it’s time to reflect on the meaning and reason for the season and worship the One who came for each of us. Midway’s giving goal this year is $1200.  We will receive the offering and welcome a special speaker from BCH on Sunday, November 25th. Jim Edminson, editor of BCH publication Charity & Children, will be with us during the morning service.  Please be in prayer for this wonderful opportunity.

Veterans of Polk County are invited and may bring one guest for a FREE Meal.  Space is limited and reservations are required! Join us for an inspirational Night of Praise as we celebrate the different missions our church has served in throughout 2018 such as Baltimore Mission, Camp New Life, and others that have gone on mission trips during the year.  Join us to hear how Jesus is moving in our community, our country, and our world!  

Polk County Schools begin August 27th. We will have a Prayer Walk to cover each school in prayer. We will begin here at Midway then groups will go to their assigned schools. Everyone will be participating (no classes).

Everyone is invited to our annual Outdoor Baptism Service & Cookout! Sunday, August 19th at 6:00 pm at our Camp New Life property. Grilled burgers and hot dogs will be prepared.  We will need drinks, chips, sides, and desserts.  A signup sheet is on the bulletin board in the hall.
