NC Missions Offering – Sunday, September 29th This is a special offering that supports the ministries of NC Baptists on Mission, church planting, mission camps, associational projects and mobilization ministry projects. Prayerfully consider your gift! Our goal for the offering this year is $3,500.

Sunday, August 18 6:00 pm – New Life Property Everyone is invited!  If you plan to attend, we will need drinks, chips, sides, and desserts.  BBQ will be provided.  A signup sheet is on the bulletin board in the hall.  If you would like to be baptized, please see Pastor Peter, Pastor Sean, or call the church office.  Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs and outdoor games.

This fundraiser for missions will be held at the Columbus Fire Department Monday, July 1st – Wednesday, July 3rd. They will need donations of individually wrapped baked goods and volunteers for each evening from 4:30 pm – until.  Please see Jane Atkins or Xan Morse for more information.

Church Picnic at New Life Camp Property Sunday Evening, June 30th at 6:00 pm Everyone is invited and asked to bring homemade ice creams, sides, chips, or drinks to share!  We’ll provide the sandwiches and watermelon. Bible Study Series on Wednesday Evenings This teaching series will take us through the whole Bible throughout 2018!  The corresponding chapters from the Bible for the lessons on Wednesdays will be posted each week in the bulletin and on FaceBook.  We hope you will join us as we read and journey through the entire Bible this year!

Midway will host Marriage Night! Friday, May 31st 6:00 pm –  Family Life Center This is a simulcast event in partnership with RightNow Media. Marriage Night will bring together husbands, wives, and engaged couples to hear from Francis and Lisa Chan, Les and Leslie Parrott, and comedian Michael Jr. to give practical answers to the question “What is marriage supposed to look like?” Cost is $30 per couple and includes dinner. Midway Baptist Church Choir will present “Closer To The Cross” A musical celebrating the Journey of Christ Sunday, April 7 at 8:30 am & 11:00 am Closer to the Cross combines powerful top worship songs with exciting new songs to take a fresh look at the Easter story.

Midway will host a Free Community Spring Fling & Egg Drop Saturday, April 6th 11:30 am – 2:30 pm We will have carnival games, a puppet show, face painting, a photo booth, food, and a helicopter egg drop!  

We will have Chick-fil-a sandwiches & nuggets, chips, drinks and snow cones at the Tryon Super Saturday Food Court. This is a fundraiser for our Youth Group.
