Columbus Christmas Parade Saturday, December 7th – 2:30 pm Everyone is invited to participate!  We will meet at the church at 2:30 pm. Parade will begin at 4 pm. Volunteers will be needed to help decorate the float on Friday, December 6th, at 4 pm. Adult float riders will be needed to monitor children. Please sign up on the bulletin board or in the Children’s Ministry Center.  

All ladies are invited to attend!   Potluck Dinner – please bring something to share. We will have a Sweet Treat Swap!  Bring 2 dozen cookies, fudge, candy, etc to share. Please also bring a fun “White Elephant” gift ($5 or less) for the gift exchange game. A signup sheet is on the Women’s Ministry bulletin board or call the church office. Christmas Decorating Saturday, November 30th, 8:30 am – Until We need volunteers to decorate the church for Christmas. We need men and women to help.  

Operation Christmas Child is a churchwide project that provides the opportunity for children around the world to experience the love of Jesus! We will continue to collect boxes throughout November as Midway is an official collection location.  We will need volunteers to help during the hours of collection. Church Family you are invited to our Thanksgiving Fellowship Meal!  Please bring soup, sandwiches, or dessert to share. Sunday, November 24th at 6:00 pm. We will have a devotion and a meal. Make sure you sign up to attend or call the church office.

Healing from Helene Ladies Event Friday, November 8th at 6:30 pm. Please join us for this time to give God glory through song, testimonies, discussion, and prayer. We will have a panel of licensed Christian counselors to offer coping strategies.

The Celebrate Recovery Team is taking a sabbatical to rest and regroup. They plan to return to ministry this summer.  However,  if anyone is in need of help during this time, you may contact Karen Silvers or the church office. Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, 12 step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurt, pain or addiction of any kind.

Baptist Children’s Homes of NC Food Roundup April is the Annual Food Roundup for the Baptist Children’s Homes of North Carolina. Being part of the Food Roundup is about helping provide physical nourishment for children as well as shining the light of Jesus.  Midway’s goal of $7,000 represents the overall BCH goal of raising funding for 700,000 meals. Women’s Ministry Craft Day – Prayer Journal Saturday, April 27th, FLC – 10:00 am – Noon Ladies and girls join us for a time of crafting, designing, fun, food and fellowship!
