Trail Life

Trail Life Troop: NC-0659  meets weekly on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm Trail Life USA partners with churches and parents across America as the premier national character development organization for young men which produces the next generation of godly and responsible husbands, fathers, and citizens. In over 750 churches in nearly 50 states, fathers and sons are connecting, relationships are deepening, and legacies are beginning as a new generation of godly leaders rises up.      

Women’s Weekly Walking

Baptist Children’s Homes of North Carolina Annual Offering

Baptist Children’s Homes of NC Annual Offering Week of Prayer November 14 – 21 Midway’s giving goal this year is $7,200 representing the 720 professions of faith made by BCH children over the past 5 years!  We will receive the offering on Sunday,   November 28. Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is a church-wide project that provides the opportunity for children around the world to experience the love of Jesus! Everyone can get involved by praying over the boxes, purchasing items for the boxes, or donating money for supplies to fill the boxes or for shipping. Sunday, November 21st is the collection day here at Midway. The last day to take your boxes to the PBA office is Monday, November 22nd. More information & OCC boxes are available…

Midway Beginnings Class

This is an orientation class that Pastor Peter leads for prospective members that desire more information about our church and for those that recently joined and have not taken the class. The class will meet in the sanctuary Sunday, October 10th at 9:45 am. Please see Pastor Peter about church membership, attending the new members class, or being baptized!

Missions Service Project – Hygiene Kits

PBA Mountain State Fair Ministry Booth – September 13th at 5:00 pm The PBA sponsors this Ministry Project to collect hygiene kits for the Mountain State Fair ministry booth. “Get the Word Out: The Bible Project”

We will have a guest from Gideons International here to encourage our church to “Get the Word Out,” an emphasis on sharing God’s Word with those who may not have access to it. New Life Kids Camp

New Life Kids Day Camp 2021 Theme: Heaven Is Real Camp begins Monday, August 9 and goes through Wednesday, August 11.  All children, from completed 1st grade through completed 5th Grade, are invited to attend! You may also invite a friend! We will also need volunteers to help with activities, meal prep & serve, etc. Signup sheets to attend and to volunteer are on the bulletin board. Sundays at 6:00 pm, Family to Family – Equipping families to get God’s Word In Us to Share God’s Word through Us! This is a new weekly interactive Bible study! We want to invest God’s Word in our families from the youngest to the oldest. We want to equip, empower, enable your family or small group to be God’s church at home. We typically meet in the Family Life Center

Fresh Food Giveaway

Weekly on Tuesdays beginning February 9 at 11:00 am – 12:00 pm, we have the opportunity to “love our neighbors” by providing fresh food to those in need.  The food will be available to our church family and anyone in the Polk County Community on a first-come, first-served basis.   The food is provided through USDA, Farmers to Families, and Baptists on Mission.

ABUNDANT Marriage Conference

Abundant – Marriage Conference March 12th – 13th Ridgecrest Conference Center The conference begins Friday evening and goes through Saturday at noon. Randall & Felicia Wood will lead the sessions. Brent & April Rains will lead worship.
