Bible Study Series on Wednesday Evenings This teaching series will take us through the whole Bible throughout 2018!  The corresponding chapters from the Bible for the lessons on Wednesdays will be posted each week in the bulletin and on FaceBook.  We hope you will join us as we read and journey through the entire Bible this year!

Midway will host Marriage Night! Friday, May 31st 6:00 pm –  Family Life Center This is a simulcast event in partnership with RightNow Media. Marriage Night will bring together husbands, wives, and engaged couples to hear from Francis and Lisa Chan, Les and Leslie Parrott, and comedian Michael Jr. to give practical answers to the question “What is marriage supposed to look like?” Cost is $30 per couple and includes dinner. Everyone is invited to this special service!  We will celebrate the past, the present, and the future mission & purpose of Midway Baptist.  We will have Sunday School at 9:45 am and only ONE morning worship service that day at 11:00 am.   A “Covered Dish Lunch” will follow in the Family Life Center. Midway Baptist Church Choir will present “Closer To The Cross” A musical celebrating the Journey of Christ Sunday, April 7 at 8:30 am & 11:00 am Closer to the Cross combines powerful top worship songs with exciting new songs to take a fresh look at the Easter story.

Midway will host a Free Community Spring Fling & Egg Drop Saturday, April 6th 11:30 am – 2:30 pm We will have carnival games, a puppet show, face painting, a photo booth, food, and a helicopter egg drop!  

We will have Chick-fil-a sandwiches & nuggets, chips, drinks and snow cones at the Tryon Super Saturday Food Court. This is a fundraiser for our Youth Group.

Ladies Bible study starting Monday, January 28th. Men, mark your calendars! Sunday, January 6th is Baptist Men’s Day here at Midway! We have a very special day planned beginning with a combined men’s Sunday School Class with guest speaker, Randy Southwick of Solitude Place Ministries. This class is for all men ages 14 or older. Then Gary Barkalow, founder of The Noble Heart Ministry, will be speaking during our Morning Worship Service!

Christmas Sermon Series Beginning Sunday, December 9th! We will be looking into the mission and purpose of Jesus Christ.  Throughout His ministry, Jesus shared with his followers the reasons that He came – a mission far different than the world expected! Invite someone to join us as we celebrate why Jesus came.
