Midway Baptist Church dedicated its new land, located at 2276 Houston Rd, Columbus, NC, on Sunday, August 21st 2011. The land was previously owned by Bob Arthur and was known in the community as Skyuka Farm. The land purchased backs up to the property line of the current property of Midway Baptist Church.
As part of the dedication service, over 150 members enjoyed a meal of barbeque catered by Mountain View BBQ and an afternoon of fun and fellowship.
Midway is already using the property purchased to house their new Associate/ Youth Pastor and will be having other upcoming events at the property. The future of the land is still being determined, Midway has many options that it will look at as they plan for the future.
