Midway Baptist Church was established on June 30, 1940, by a band of 53 members who loved the Lord supremely. Today, it is over 350 members strong and continuing to grow.  Midway is a Southern Baptist Church, with a vision for the future and the belief that in order to grow and prosper, you must let God be in control and let His Spirit flow through the membership.  Midway is known in the community for being a “Prayer Warrior Church”, it’s membership has developed a prayer chain that has proved many times to be blessed with answers from God.

As the congregation of Midway looks into the future, they realize again, just how much being faithful to God and to his plan really means.  In August 2011, Midway was blessed to be able to purchase  and dedicate approximately 50 acres of land, which connects to the current property.  The future plans for the property are numerous, but Midway will let God lead them to what He would have it to become.
